The typical way scientific information is presented to students isn't working. Two-dimensional illustrations of cellular activities, or worse yet - lists of things connected by arrows, are boring and ineffective. Students simply resort to memorizing the information for tests and then forget it - sound familiar?
Our approach is different. Initially, we created highly realistic, 3-dimensional models and animations for use both in and outside the classroom. The response was remarkable with student interest levels and understanding increasing dramatically when compared to peer groups taught the traditional way.
